Why we started Modern Age Fitness

The short answer is, we believe this service can help transform people’s lives. Our mission is to help people not only achieve their short term goals, but also provide education around nutrition and fitness that they can take with them for the rest of their lives. Since the idea of this business was born during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, peoples health, safety and affordability are amongst the top of our priorities.The first question we asked ourselves is “If we were a client, what would we want.” Here’s what we came up with:

A personal relationship with a coach and instructor. We know that, especially during a time of social distancing, human interaction is extremely important. We are all experiencing an increase in technology that can help aid us in this process. Although it may be online, we still want you to have a personal relationship with your coach. That way, they can understand who YOU are, beyond just being a client. This will help us create the most customized experience possible.

Leading us to our next point. We have all experienced the “cookie cutter” plans you see promoted online, on instagram, youtube and facebook. These do not take into account your home life, job, kids, lifestyle, ect. There is no follow up on these plans and they are not updated based on progress. They are simply crash course diets and exercise plans designed to only turn a profit. We wanted to create an experience that paying customers deserve by matching you with a coach who will be in your corner every step of the way. Our coaches have been hand selected to ensure we provide a variety of personalities and expertise in nutrition planning, exercise selection, and coaching styles.

Having a coach that cares about you, is able to adjust your plans based on progress or when unexpected things come up in life and motivate you throughout your fitness journey will completely be the difference maker in reaching your goals.

Lastly, there is a plethora of fitness related content on social media, so finding quality content that actually serves your best interest and doesn’t create unrealistic expectations can be hard to find. That is why we wanted to provide our customers with access to various types of fitness related content all in a singular location, such as: healthy meal ideas, instructional videos, helpful blog posts and much more to accompany your fitness journey.
